Hello beautiful people,
Today is the 30 June/1 July 2011 partial solar eclipse.
A solar eclipse is when the Moon passes between the Sun and the Earth, obscuring the Sun as viewed from Earth.
Solar eclipse energy is about:
* Initiating change
* Maturation, growth and development
* Committing to something new or committing in a new way
* Stepping up in your life
* New energy, new phase, new challenges
* Letting go of what is no longer needed to embrace the new
Sometimes we ride these changes with grace and aplomb.
Sometimes these changes come as a crisis that leave us sprawled sideways on the pavement gasping for breath.
However we journey through change we are required to draw on both the resources in our internal and external worlds.
I want to share with you an interview I did this afternoon with someone who is flowing with the energy of the above themes in a way that I find exceptionally inspirational.
Our special guest, Noah, has been initiated this week through the rite of passage of letting go of his first baby tooth.
First I will share a little about this shiny soul.
He is a 6 year old Piscean boy whose favourite things include his birthday, infinite supplies of Lego, playing games like Uno with his mama + dad, + having baths.
His favourite animals are turtles and frogs.
Right now his favourite colour is yellow.
Also, I am blessed to say that I get to be his mama this time around, cool hey?
Here is how the interview rolled:
Noah is there anything you want to share with kids that have wobbly teeth?
Noah: I know if you have a wobbly tooth your parents or people at the shop tell you to pull it out. Here is what to do. Pull your tooth backwards so much and then rip it up from the bottom. Do it yourself. That’s what I did in the car. And if you can’t do it, don’t be afraid.
What if they are afraid?
Noah: Just be brave and pull your tooth out so you get money from the tooth faerie.
What do you think the tooth faerie does with all the teeth?
She turns the teeth into money I think.
Were you scared when your tooth was wobbly?
Yes. Beware! You need to eat on the side.
So how did you get brave?
Just stand in your fears and fight your fears and defeat them like I did.
Is there anything that helped you fight your fears? Like special support, tools or powers?
Yes. I used two swords that are red metal that shoot lightening and they turn big when they have lightening.
Where did you find these swords?
Ok, you have to go to the arctic and to the desert to get the swords. Both of the swords are in big round rocks stabbed in really, really hard in the rock.
How will people know where to go?
Think with your brain.
Use your imagination.
Use your heart.
My heart guided me.
What was it like letting go of your first tooth?
Exciting!
How do you feel about the next leg of your adventure as a young boy? Anything you are looking forward to?
I don’t know. Buying candy.
I’m bored now. I just want to sit and relax.
So this interview is over?
Yeah.
Thank you!
So there you go. What a wise young man. There is something in that for all of us I think.
Sage advice indeed.
Got fears?
Use your brain and your imagination and let your heart guide you.
Sending you much love and red swords on your journey,
Melissa
